Sylin provides you with the sounds of jazz from all over the world. I woudn’t say that the this type of program would be suited for an afternoon time slot, but should be pushed to an evening/night time slot. But having said that, it shouldn’t matter what time this program is, any fan of jazz would enjoy the show.
Ennio Styles prestents the show well. He doesn’t try to go overboard with silly antics and he certainly knows what he’s talking about. Occassionally he stumbles with his words and leaves long pauses before he talks again to coninue on with what he’s saying, and some of his technical attributes to the show could be improved eg. background music was too hight when talking and introducing his guests.
The show is very unique it the quality of sound it produces. I don’t believe i’ve heard many jazz programs that has the type of music that this show plays. It goes to show that any jazz program could be made to reach different types of audiences.
